On-Site Interpretation

As we are opening to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world across frontiers, interpreters are key components as they serve as communication conduits so that individuals or groups can work together. On-site interpretation services are needed when you have a client who is not fluent in your language, when you have training planned for foreign clients or employees, or when you plan to negotiate contracts with parties who speak a different language.

We follow strict guidelines to deliver the best product based on the following:

  • Having a full understanding of the client's line of work
  • Researching and/or preparing prior to the engagement
  • Liaising with clients to accommodate any required discussions and clarifications
  • Ensuring strict confidentiality

Virtual Interpretation

Our interpreters can meet you via Zoom, WebEx or other online platforms. The ability to hold meetings in multiple languages can be life-affirming for those in need to communicate in courtrooms, virtual fairs, training sessions, and more.

Note: Interpretation services are normally based on hourly rates. If the actual hours exceed the originally booked hours, you will be invoiced for the extra time, based on full-hour increments. Please provide one week of notice to allow us enough time for preparation (logistics). Also, languages for interpretation services are subject to interpreters’ availability.

Special Request Languages

  • Plains Cree

The Cree language is often described by linguists as a dialect continuum (a series of dialects that change gradually over a geographical area), also called Cree-Montagnais-Naskapi. This dialect continuum belongs to the Algonquian linguistic family, and is spoken across Canada, from the Rocky Mountains to Labrador. Plains Cree, also known as the y-dialect, is spoken in much of Alberta, Central Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and Northern Montana.

  • Inuktitut

Inuktitut is one of the principal Inuit languages of Canada. It is spoken in parts of Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec, and to some extent in northeastern Manitoba as well as the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. It is one of the aboriginal languages written with Canadian Aboriginal syllabics and it is recognised as an official language in Nunavut alongside Inuinnaqtun.
